| Dennis Thurman (born April 13, 1956 in Los Angeles) is a retired cornerback who played for the Dallas Cowboys between 1978 and 1985 and in 1986 played for the Saint Louis Cardinals. Thurman had 3 interceptions, including a 39-yard touchdown and one to clinch the victory at Texas Stadium, Irving, Texas in the 1983 National Football League playoffs semi-finals. Thurman played college football at University of Southern California where he graduated in 1977 as a 2-time All-America safety and flanker and was part of the 1974 National Champion team. He is currently the Baltimore Ravens secondary coach and has been coaching with various teams since 1988.
