| Don Peden was head coach of the Ohio Bobcats football team from 1924-1946. In that time, he compiled a 121-46-11 record, good for a winning percentage of .711 that still stands as the best ever for an Ohio football coach. Peden's teams won a total of 6 Buckeye Athletic Association Championships (1929, 1930, 1931, 1935, 1936, and 1938). Peden's tenure at Ohio left a lasting mark on the program when the Bobcat's football stadium, Peden Stadium, was named in his honor following his retirement.
