Duane Starks (born May 23, 1974) is a cornerback who plays for the Oakland Raiders of the NFL and went to University of Miami.

In his career with the New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals, and Baltimore Ravens, he has had one sack and 25 interceptions.

High school career

Duane Starks attended Miami Beach High School in Miami Beach, Florida, where he lettered in both, football, and track and field. In football, as a senior, he was a first team All-Dade County selection, and a second team All-Florida selection as a quarterback. In track, he finished second in the state on the long jump.

College career

Starks was a two-year starter at cornerback,and a star returner for the Miami Hurricanes Football team.

Released By the Patriots

Duane Starks was released by The New England Patriots on Saturday January 24, 2005, after what many believed to be a disappointing season for the former Pro-Bowler. He was signed by the Oakland Raiders on March 24, 2006
