Duce Staley (born February 27, 1975 in Tampa, Florida) is an American football player in the NFL who currently plays running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

High school

Staley was an All-State selection at Airport High School in Columbia, South Carolina.

College and Pros

As a senior at the University of South Carolina in 1996, Staley was ranked 13th in the nation in rushing with 1,116 rushing yards. His South Carolina years combined, he attempted 345 rushes for 1,582 yards (4.58 per average). He also received 59 passes for 489 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1997 draft and played for the Eagles until the 2003, when he left for Pittsburgh via free agency.

Prior to playing at South Carolina, Staley played two years at Itawamba Junior College in Mississippi.
