| Edward Dennis Ryan (born on December 29, 1925 in Banff, Alberta, Canada) is a former NFL Defensive End with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia. And attended college at St. Mary's College of California. In 1948, he was drafted by the Steelers 73rd overall, becoming one of the first Canadians ever drafted in the NFL. He would play 9 games that season, his only season in the NFL.
