| Edwin Miranda (born January 28, 1981 in Zacatecoluca, El Salvador) is a Salvadoran-American soccer player, who currently plays defensive midfield for the Portland Timbers of the A-League. Miranda played four years of college soccer at Cal State-Northridge, where he was twice named Big West Conference Defender of the Year. After graduating, Miranda was drafted 54th overall by the Dallas Burn in the 2004 MLS SuperDraft. Miranda did not, however, make the Burn's final roster, and ended up playing the 2004 season for Portland. With Portland, Miranda appeared in 14 games, playing 867 minutes and scoring one goal.
