Eric Go (born January 12, 1984) is a male filipino badminton player from the United States. At his peak, he was the best badminton player for his age. Since age thirteen he had always kept his name on the rankings for the Juniors in the US. In the 2001 USA Junior Nationals, for under 19 doubles, he and Raju Rai defeated George Liao and Han Wen in the first round and later defeated Isaac Alwine and Adam Scholl in the finals. That year Eric also won the singles event for under 19, beating Raymond wong.Though among the top players in the continent, Eric had a hard time competing against the stronger asian players. In the 2000 World Junior Championship Eric lost in the first round against an Indonsian player. After years competing in the internatioanl circuit, Eric failed to break through the first round in any game held in asia. Eric has given up on badminton and enrolled in University of California in Riverside since 2003.
