| Eric Michael Wedge (born January 27, 1968, in Fort Wayne, Indiana) is the current manager of the Cleveland Indians in Major League Baseball; he is the youngest current manager in the majors. He played college baseball at Wichita State University and was a catcher, making it to the majors for only sporadic play from 1991 to 1994, primarily as a designated hitter with the Boston Red Sox. He managed the AAA Buffalo Bisons before becoming the Indians' manager at the start of the 2003 season, replacing interim manager Joel Skinner.
