Frank started his career in 1998 in SCW using the ring name Frankie Capone or "Uptown" Frankie Capone. He went on to wrestle in many other federations in the United States, England and China, including NWA, IPW, CCW, UWW, and TNA. In the fall of 2005, he started working for Deep South Wrestling, a WWE developmental territory.
