| Fred Breining was a pitcher for the San Francisco Giants and the Montreal Expos from 1981-1985. His career was cut tragically short when pitching to Ray Knight he fielded a bunt and threw it to first, only to blow out his shoulder on the throw to first base. He never played another inning as a Major Leaguer. Fred now gives private pitching lessons around the San Francisco Bay Area.
