| Glen Mason (Born, April 9, 1950) is a college football coach. He has been the head coach for the Minnesota Golden Gophers since 1997.He is currently signed through the 2010 football season. Prior to coaching the Gopher, Mason was head coach for Kent State University 1986-87 and the University of Kansas from 1988 to 1996, with previous assistant stints at the University of Illinois, Ohio State, Ball State, Iowa State, and Allegheny College. He played college football at Ohio State University were he graduated from in 1972 with a B.A. in education. He and his wife Kate have five children.
