| Glenn Presnell (July 28, 1905 - September 13, 2004) was an football player. Born in Gilead, Nebraska and educated at University of Nebraska where he was an all-American, Presnell played for the NFL's Portsmouth Spartans, who later became the Detroit Lions, in the 1930s. After playing in the NFL, Presnell was assistant football coach for the University of Kansas, then an assistant for the University of Nebraska and Eastern Kentucky University. He was Head Coach at Nebraska in 1942 and Eastern Kentucky from 1954-1963. He was then athletic director at Eastern Kentucky until his retirement in 1974. Presnell passed away on September 13, 2004 in Ironton, Ohio at the age of 99. Teams played for
