| Hershel Dennis (born July 12, 1984) is a running back for the University of Southern California and a graduate of Long Beach Polytechnic High School. Dennis led both LenDale White and Reggie Bush in rushing two years ago before tearing a ligament in his left knee and should be a leading rushing candidate in 2006 after both players are presumably drafted into the NFL. Dennis is a sociology major at USC. His father, Hershel Sr., played tailback at North Carolina A&T.
