Isaiah Kacyvenski (born October 3 1977) is an NFL outside linebacker with the Seattle Seahawks.

Early Childhood

Isaiah Kacyvenski started from humble beginnings. The youngest of five children growing up in upstate Endicott, N.Y., his family lived in a tent for three months when he was a young child. His father was an alcoholic and was abusive father to him and his siblings. Kacyvenski's father used to dig through trash bins to bring food home.

High school

His mother died in a car accident when Kacyvenski was a senior in high school.

College career

For four years, Isaiah Kacyvenski started every game at Harvard University (Crimson). As a freshman, he won the Ivy League Rookie of the Year award, and for three years, won All-Ivy League first team honors. As a senior, he had a school single-season record 135 tackles, and for his college career, finished with a school career-record record 395 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 11 interceptions, and 8 fumble recoveries.
