| Jacque Dewayne Jones (born April 25, 1975 in San Diego, California) is an outfielder in Major League Baseball. He graduated from San Diego High School and the University of Southern California, where he had a stellar career. During 1996, he was member of the US Olympic Baseball team. After playing the first seven years of his major league career with the Minnesota Twins organization, Jones officially ended his relationship with the Twins by turning down arbitration on December 19, 2005 . He signed a three-year deal with the Chicago Cubs just a day later .
