James "Flight" White (Born October 21 1982) is a Men's collegiate basketball player in the NCAA.

Named Maryland high school Player of the Year as a junior at Newport High School in Kensington, Maryland after averaging 23.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists and leading his school to the state private school championship. Earned McDonald's All-American honors as a senior at Hargrave Military Academy in 2000-01. Originally chose Florida over North Carolina, Duke, and Maryland. Posted averages of 6.1 points and 2.9 rebounds in 20.5 minutes per game in his lone season there in 2001-02. Ran into trouble following several suspensions early in his sophomore year. Enrolled at University of Cincinnati for the spring semester of that year, and became eligible to play for the Bearcats in mid-December of 2003. Started the final 21 games of the season and took on a larger share of the ball-handling responsibilities in the final eight contests. Averaged 7.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and a team-leading 3.6 assists per contest.
