James Robert Brower (born December 29, 1972 in Edina, Minnesota) is a Major League baseball pitcher for the Atlanta Braves. Brower previously pitched with the San Francisco Giants, where he tied the Giants record with 89 relief appearances in the 2004 season.

He has played with 5 different MLB teams: Cleveland Indians (1999-2000), Cincinnati Reds (2001-2002), Montreal Expos (2002), San Francisco Giants (2003-2004), and Atlanta Braves (2005-).

He has proven to be a very versatile pitcher. In his career, Brower has worked as a starting and relief pitcher. In the off season, Brower and his wife, Jessica, visit terminally ill children in area hospitals.
