| Jim Miller is an NFL quarterback, last under contract to the New York Giants. He was drafted in the 6th round of the 1994 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, 178th overall. Miller never played an entire game at quarterback with Pittsburgh. Miller wouldn't play in a game until 1999 with the Chicago Bears. He would earn the starting job and take the Bears to the playoffs in 2001 in Chicago's first playoff berth since 1994 and their last playoff run to this date. Miller would be injured early and the Bears would lose to the Philadelphia Eagles. Miller would lose his starting job in 2002. Miller hasn't had a pass attempt since, but picked up a Super Bowl ring as the emergency quarterback for the 2004 New England Patriots. Before the 2005 season, he signed with the Giants, but was released after receiving an injury settlement.
