| Jim Sorgi (born December 3, 1980 in Fraser, MI) is an American football quarterback playing for the Indianapolis Colts. He is the backup to Peyton Manning. Jim Sorgi played college football for the Wisconsin Badgers. Sorgi, a sixth-round draft pick in the 2004 NFL Draft, has been the primary backup to star quarterback Peyton Manning the last two seasons. As of the end of the 2005 regular season, he has four career touchdown passes and three interceptions. He replaced fellow NFL quarterback Brooks Bollinger at Wisconsin.
