| Jim Thiebaud is an American skateboarder. He and Mike Vallely were the second street skaters to turn pro for Powell Peralta (after Tommy Guerrero) as street skating entered its intermediate stage. Thiebaud soon left to join Steve Rocco's new company, World Industries, which came to replace Powell Peralta as skateboarding's most popular company in the early 1990's. In 1991, he founded Real Skateboards with Tommy Guerrero.
