| John Rashall Salmons (born December 12 1979 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is a professional basketball player in the NBA. After a college career at the University of Miami, he was drafted 26th overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 2002 NBA Draft. He was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers where he has played his entire professional career, averaging 4.1 points per game. He won a high school state championship at Plymouth-Whitemarsh high school in 1997.
