| John Oscar Dickshot commonly known as "Ugly" Johnny Dickshot (born January 24, 1910 in Waukegan, Illinois) was a Major League Baseball outfielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1936-1938, New York Giants in 1939, and Chicago White Sox from 1944-1945. His most productive season came with the White Sox in 1945 where he batted .302 (3rd in the American League) with 58 RBI's in 486 at bats. He died on November 4, 1997 in his hometown of Waukegan. Today, he is most known for his distinctive name and its unique sexual innuendo in American slang.
