| Johnny Lujack (pronounced Lu' jack) was born on January 4, 1925 within the industrialized region surrounding Pittsburgh in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. Lujack was an American football quarterback for the University of Notre Dame and the Chicago Bears. He won the Heisman Trophy in 1947. He is ranked the 61st best football player of all time, and the 3rd best college football quarterback.
