Josh Booty (born April 29, 1975) is a former National Football League quarterback and Major League Baseball shortstop.

Booty signed with Louisiana State University as a football player out of high school. However, he gave up the sport in favor of a professional baseball career when the Florida Marlins select him with the fifth overall pick in the 1994 Amateur Draft. Despite his high draft position, Booty failed to find success at either the major or minor league level. He didn't advance beyond A-ball until his fourth pro season, and appeared in only thirteen games for the Marlins.

After retiring from baseball following the 1998 season, Booty returned to LSU where he was the starting quarterback for two seasons. Although the Tigers struggled in his first year, he led them to a victory of Georgia Tech in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in 2000.

Booty was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round of the 2001 NFL Draft, and was a backup quarterback for the Cleveland Browns through the 2003 season, although he never attempted a pass in a regular season game.
