Josh Miller (born July 14, 1970 in Queens, New York) is a Jewish-American punter in the NFL for the New England Patriots. His jersey number is "8". He is 6'4" and 225 pounds. A graduate of the University of Arizona, he spent the 1994-1995 seasons playing for the Baltimore Stallions of the Canadian Football League, the 1996-2003 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the 2004-2005 seasons with the New England Patriots.

High school career

Josh Miller attended East Brunswick High School in East Brunswick Township, New Jersey. While there, he was an All-State pick in both football and track, and was a basketball star. In football he won All-State honors. In basketball, he was a guard. In track, he was an All-State pick, and a decathlete.

Junior College Career

Miller attended Scottsdale Community College for two years. He was a two-time All-Western State Football League pick at both kicker and punter.
