| Joshua Payne Scobey (born December 11, 1979 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) is an American football running back and kick returner for the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL. He served as a team captain during Super Bowl XL. Scobey's NFL career began when he was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in 2002. He played for the Cardinals for three seasons before moving to the Seahawks. In college, Scobey starred at running back for Kansas State University, setting a school record for rushing touchdowns.
