Joshua Eric "Josh" Towers (b. 26 February, 1977 in Port Hueneme, California) is an American baseball player who currently pitches for the Toronto Blue Jays.

Towers was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 15th round of the 1996 Amateur Draft. He made his debut for Baltimore in 2001, compiling 8 wins and 10 losses while posting an ERA of 4.49. However the next year he failed to win a game and he was let go by the Orioles. He signed on with the Blue Jays for the 2003 season and he had a very successful season, winning 8 and only losing 1. He became the team's fifth starter in 2004, and had a very mediocre campaign, going 9-9 with a 5.11 ERA in 21 games started. In 2005, Towers got off to a very good start and was quite possibly Toronto's most dependable pitcher when the Blue Jays top starters went down to injury, compiling 13 wins to lead the club (along with rookie Gustavo Chacin) coupled with a solid 3.71 ERA. His 33 games started also established a career high.

Towers is a control pitcher with oustanding command of the strike-zone and boasts a 90 mph fastball. He rarely walks batters. However, he also rarely strikes them out as his career high 112 K's in 2005 can attest to. At this point, Towers is viewed as a career fifth starter and has been trying to shed that label. Another campaign of similar strength to his 2005 regular-season performance will go a long way to establishing Towers as an effective mid-rotation major-league starting pitcher. Towers currently has a career win-loss record of 38-35 with a 4.49 ERA in 97 games, and 85 games started.
