Justin Green (born April 30, 1982 in San Diego, California) is a fullback in the NFL for the Baltimore Ravens.

Pro Career

Green was utilized mostly as a blocking Fullback in 2005 by the Baltimore Ravens. His solid play was rewarded with 4 starts and 12 games played in his rookie campaign. Green played in both the Ravens Monday Night Football games in 2005, and started one of them. His game worn jersey from the Monday Night game with Green Bay was auctioned on Ebay and sold for a few hundred dollars. Green also played on Special Teams. Green finished the year with 4 yards rushing on 5 attempts, and 32 yards on 7 catches with no touchdowns.

Many believe Green will develop into the Mike Sellers-type multi-purpose fullback who can be used in short yardage redzone situations and special teams.

College career

At the University of Montana, Green rushed for 1,784 yards on 412 carries (4.3 yards per carry avg.), and also caught 15 passes for 93 yards (6.2 yds. per rec.). As a junior, he was named the Big Sky Conference's Newcomer of the Year.

High school

Green was a star player at University of San Diego High School.

A 2005 Upper Deck SP Authentic Gold Justin Green #'d 25/25 sold on Ebay for $21.51, the highest recorded price paid for a Justin Green card (the same card, #'d 1/25 sold for $11 a week earlier. Of note a 2005 Bowman Silver Refractor #'d 1/50 sold for $21.50, just a penny lower than the record high.
