| Justin Michael Reed (born January 16, 1982 in Jackson, Mississippi) is a professional basketball player with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Following a successful career as a forward at the University of Mississippi, he was selected 40th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2004 NBA Draft. Although he did not play much in his rookie year he gained a reputation for playing tenacious defense. He was expected to have an expanded role in the 2005 season coming off the bench for Boston but was traded to Minnesota on 26 January 2006 in a multi-player deal.
