Keiichi Yabu (薮恵壹, Yabu Keiichi) (b. September 28, 1968 in Mie, Oita, Japan) is a Major League Baseball (MLB) player currently playing for the Colorado Rockies. He previously played for the Oakland Athletics. Prior to his stint in MLB, Yabu pitched for the Hanshin Tigers from 1994 to 2004. During that time, he had a combined record of 84 wins and 106 loses in 268 games with 206 starts. He completed 39 complete games and had a career 3.57 Earned Runs Average(ERA). In 2005 with the Athletics, Yabu pitched 58 innings in 40 games with 4 wins and 0 loses. He had an ERA of 4.50 and allowed 34 runs while striking out 44.
