Kevin Louis Carter (born September 21, 1973 in Miami, Florida) is an American football defensive end who plays for the Miami Dolphins of the NFL. Carter previously played for the St. Louis Rams and the Tennessee Titans.

College career

Carter was a four year letterman in football at the University of Florida. He was a consensus All-American his senior year, posting 66 tackles and 11.5 sacks. Carter was also selected to the All-SEC first team his junior and senior seasons.

Pro Career

Carter was selected by the St. Louis Rams with the sixth overall pick in the 1995 NFL Draft. His best season as a pro came in 1999 with the Rams when he tallied a career high 17 sacks.
