Kevin Troy Faulk (born June 5, 1976 in Lafayette, Louisiana) is the reserve halfback for the New England Patriots. Despite backing up Corey Dillon, he still plays regularly as a third-down back (meaning he is often used as a change-of-pace runner on third downs). He played college football at LSU.High school careerAt Carencro High School in Carencro, Louisiana, Kevin Faulk was a two-time Class 5A Most Valuable Player (the previous two-time Class 5A MVP was 20 years ago). He won All-American Honors with Parade, USA Today, along with leading his team to a Class 5A state championship victory in 1992.
