| Kevin Paul Mmahat (born 9 November, 1964) was a Major League Baseball (MLB) player in the late 1980s. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Mmahat graduated from and pitched for Tulane University. He was drafted by the Texas Rangers as a left-handed pitcher in 1987, but sold to the New York Yankees a year later without playing a game. His MLB debut came on 9 September, 1989, and his final game occurred less than one month later, on 1 October, 1989. In his MLB career, Mmahat pitched 7.2 innings and attained an ERA of 12.91. Mmahat is best-remembered for his unusual surname, which is Turkish in derivation. The name inspired several pun-filled headlines in the New York Post, such as "New Yankees Pitcher is Mm, Mm, Good".
