Kevin Andrew Romine (born May 23, 1961 in Exeter, New Hampshire) is a former utility outfielder in Major League Baseball who played for the Boston Red Sox throughout his career (1985-1991). He wore #16 (sixteen) throughout his career.

A native of New Hampshire, Romine batted and threw right-handed and was an all-American at Arizona State University, before being selected in the 2nd round of the amateur draft by the Red Sox, where he was primarily a reserve player, splitting duties with fellow backup Randy Kutcher.

Romine had a good year in his most complete season, 1989, while filling in for banged-up outfielder Dwight Evans – who was conveniently filling in for the injured Ellis Burks as the designated hitter. He batted .274 in 274 at bats on the season. He went 5-for-5 on July 2, 1989 in a game against the Toronto Blue Jays. But he was released in the middle of the 1991 season after batting .164 in 55 at bats. Romine was never heard from again.

His career stats include a .251 batting average, with 5 home runs and 55 RBIs. He had 30 doubles and 1 triple in his 630 career at bats.
