Athletes - Khalid El-Amin


Khalid El-Amin (born April 25, 1979, in Minneapolis, Minnesota) was a member of the 1999 UConn men's basketball team that won the NCAA championship. He is originally from Minnesota where he played for North Minneapolis High School. In 2000, he was drafted in the 2nd round by the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association and played 50 games for them, averaging 6.3 points and 2.9 assists per game.

El-Amin currently plays for Azovmash Mariupol of the Ukrainian basketball league.
