| Kristine Holzer (born on March 21, 1974 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada) is an American Olympic speed skater. Holzer was originally a collegiate rower for Gonzaga, where she was captain. However in 1998, at the age of 24 she decided to take up speed skating despite only having skated one time in her life, but she learned quickly. She skated at the 2006 Winter Olympics and finished in 27th place in the 3000 meters.
