| Lance Telford Painter (b. July 21 1967 in Bedford, England) is a former major league left handed reliever who played for the Colorado Rockies (1993-1996), St. Louis Cardinals (1997-1999) (2003), and the Toronto Blue Jays (2000-2001). Painter generally posted a high ERA in most years. He did have a couple of good years, his best being 1999 with the Cardinals when Lance went 4-0, with a 3.99 era in 48 innings pitches.
