Athletes - Larry Donald

Larry Ali Donald (born January 6, 1967) is a professional heavyweight boxer. Larry "The Legend" Donald turned pro on January 3 1993, earning a technical knockout against Craig Brinson
. In 1994 he beat fellow undefeated prospect Jeremy Williams, defeated Bert Cooper
by TKO, and suffered his first loss by decision against Riddick Bowe
.

Afterward Larry had a rather unimpressive career, considering his impressive physical abilities, until 2004 when he humiliated former linear champion Evander Holyfield
, outlanding him 4 to 1 and earning a 119-109, 119-109, 118-109 unanimous decision. This defeat caused the New York State Athletic Commission to permanently suspend Evander Holyfield
’s license to box in the USA.

In 2005, Donald controversially lost a title elimantor bout to Russian heavyweight Nicolay Valuev which would have earned him the right to fight John Ruiz for the WBA belt.

Current Record: 42 wins, 4 losses, 3 draws
