| Larry Foote is a linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He attended college at The University of Michigan and was a fourth round draft pick of the Steelers in 2002. Foote was a role player for much of his early career, but he had a breakout year in 2005. Foote started all 16 regular season games for the Steelers, recording 102 tackles and 3 quarterback sacks. Farrior also had a key interception on Denver Broncos quarterback Jake Plummer during the 2005 AFC Championship Game. The Broncos, trailing in the game, returned a Steeler kick to midfield which threatned to shift the momentum away from the Steelers. However on the next play from scrimmage, Farrior intercepted Plummer's pass and effectively ended the Broncos rally. TriviaLike fellow Steeler Jerome Bettis, Foote is a native of Detroit, Michigan.[ Visit the complete Wikipedia entry for Larry Foote ] Some related entries: Dan Plesac | Jerry Tuite | Adolph Rupp | Richie Adubato | Jud Wilson | Dick Sisler | Carl Krauser | Shaun Alexander | Greg Olson | Chester McGlockton | Jonathan Ogden This page is based on the copyrighted Wikipedia article Larry Foote; it is used under the GNU Free Documentation License.
