| Lawrence Curtis (Larry) Jackson (June 2, 1931 - August 28, 1990) was a pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the St. Louis Cardinals (1955-1962), Chicago Cubs (1963-1966) and Philadelphia Phillies (1966-1968). Jackson batted and threw right handed. He was born in Nampa, Idaho. In a 14-season career, Jackson posted a 194-183 record with 1709 strikeouts and a 3.40 ERA in 3262-2/3 innings pitched. Jackson died in Boise, Idaho, at the age of 59. Best Season
