Lastings Milledge (born April 5, 1985), is a top prospect in the New York Mets organization, playing centerfield. He was born in Palmetto, Florida. As of the end of the 2005 baseball season, he was playing for the Mets Double-A affiliate, the Binghamton Mets. He is currently attending Mets Spring Training in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Milledge is regarded as an excellent athlete and the jewel of the Mets farm system. He is a "five tool player" with tremendous potential. Known for his excellent bat speed, his only apparent offensive weakness is his occasional struggle with plate discipline. On defense, Milledge has great range and a very powerful throwing arm. While his base-running leaves some room for improvement, this will likely come with experience, and his explosive speed makes him a constant base-stealing threat.

In 48 games with the Binghamton Mets last season (2004-2005), Milledge recorded 65 hits in 193 at-bats for a .337 batting average, while driving in 24 runs and scoring 33. He struck out 47 times while drawing only 14 walks, a cause for some concern among his coaches. Milledge stole 11 bases and committed two fielding errors.
