| Logan Mankins (born March 10, 1982 in Catheys Valley, California) is an American football guard who currently plays for the New England Patriots of the NFL. He was drafted by the Patriots in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft with the 32nd overall pick.
At Mariposa High School in Mariposa, California Mankins was an All-League performer and the team MVP. After a standout high school career, Logan Mankins attended Fresno State University. On October 16, he was ejected out of the game vs. the Denver Broncos after hitting defensive lineman Ebenezer Ekuban below the belt following a missed 53 yard field goal try by Adam VinatieriIt's belived that he did so because his hand was stepped on by Ekuban.
