Mac Danzig (b. January 2 1980 Cleveland, Ohio) is an American professional mixed martial arts practitioner, and the current lightweight division champion for the King of the Cage and Gladiator Challenge mixed martial arts organizations. As an amateur mixed martial artist, Mac was the lightweight Extreme Challenge Trials 2001 U.S. MMA National Champion.

While Danzig is known as an impressive grappler, having scored 11 of his victories by submission; he has recently proven himself to be an adept striker, most notably with his TKO (due to strikes) victory over former lightweight champion Takumi Nakayama.

In the past, Mac was known for his association with R1 fight team (formerly RAW) and had been a student of Iowa wrestling standout Rico Chiapparelli and MMA fighter Frank Trigg. Since then he has trained boxing extensively at Wild Card gym in Hollywood, CA under Freddie Roach assistant Justin Fortune and is currently a member of the Millennia Jiu-Jitsu training camp, based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California. Millennia Jiu-Jitsu is also home to fighters such as Romie Aram, Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter John Alessio, former King of the Cage Champion Javier Vazquez, and King of the Cage bantamweight Champion Manny Tapia.

Most recently, on Saturday March 18th 2006 Danzig succesfully defended his title with a unanimous decision win over Jason Ireland in King of the Cage Drop Zone. This bout will be featured on on April 9th.
