| Marc Edwards (born November 17, 1974 in Cincinnati, Ohio) is an American football fullback for the Chicago Bears of the NFL. He previously played for the San Francisco 49ers, the Cleveland Browns, the New England Patriots, and the Jacksonville Jaguars. He currently plays for the Chicago Bears. He was drafted in the second round of the 1997 NFL Draft by the 49ers out of Notre Dame. His only Pro Bowl appearance came with the Bengals. Edwards' best seasons came as the lead blocker for the 49ers' Garrison Hearst in 1998 and the Jaguars' Fred Taylor in 2002. He is also a capable pass-blocker and flat receiver.
