Marcel Ernest Lachemann (born June 13, 1941 in Los Angeles, California) was a former relief pitcher for the Oakland Athletics. After a brief three-year stint (1969 - 1971 in the majors, he became the pitching coach for the California Angels in 1984, and was the pitching coach when Donnie Moore gave up a game-tying home run to Dave Henderson in the ALCS. Lachemann stayed with the Angels until the 1993 season, when he was named pitching coach of the newly-formed Florida Marlins by his brother Rene, who was named manager. In 1994, he replaced Buck Rodgers as manager of the Angels, and one year later, the Angels fell in another collapse (they were 11 games ahead of the Seattle Mariners in August before collapsing and losing a one-game playoff at the end of the season). Lachemann never recovered, and in August, 1996, he resigned as manager.

Lachemann served as pitching coach for Team USA during the 2006 World Baseball Classic.
