Marcos Carvajal (born August 19, 1984, in BolĂ­var, Venezuela) is a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball who plays for the Seattle Mariners. Carvajal bats and throws right-handed. He made his major league debut on April 6, 2005, with the Colorado Rockies. After the 2005 season, he was traded to the Mariners for catcher Yorvit Torrealba
.

A highly-touted prospect in the Dodgers and Brewers minor league systems, Carvajal was picked up by the Rockies in the Rule 5 draft in December 2004. Then, in the 2005 spring training he posted a 1-0 record with a 4.97 ERA and 10 strikeouts in 12.2 innings. He was included on the Opening Day Roster. At age twenty, Carvajal became the youngest player to appear in a game for the Rockies. He pitched a perfect inning in his major league debut.
