Maurice Eugene Evans (born 8 November 1978, in Wichita, Kansas) is a professional basketball player in the NBA currently with the Detroit Pistons.

He was undrafted after a college career at the University of Texas at Austin, and has played for the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Sacramento Kings; where he averaged 6.4 points per game. He also played in Europe from 2002 until 2004.

He was signed by the Detroit Pistons in 2005. As of January 31 2006, Evans averaged 6.1 ppg and 2.4 rpg in 15.8 minutes per game. He is regarded as a high energy player who plays with emotion and is often an important offensive spark coming off the bench for Tayshaun Prince or Richard Hamilton, pretty much as Darvin Ham did when he was on the Pistons.
