Michael Jenkins (born June 16, 1982 in Tampa, Florida) is a wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. The Falcons selected Jenkins out of The Ohio State University in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft.

Jenkins had a tremendous senior year in high school, but did not receive much attention from elite programs. Considered a diamond in the rough, Ohio State discovered and immediately offered Jenkins a scholarship to play at Ohio State. After spending a few years at Ohio State behind talented receivers, Jenkins got his shot and became Ohio State's go-to receiver. He was instrumental to the success of the Buckeyes in their 2002 National Championship run. While he did not put up the stats of other receivers of his caliber in a run-oriented offense, Jenkins was drafted in the 1st round by the Atlanta Falcons and is regarded as one of the best Ohio State receivers of all time.
