Michael David Ruffin (born 21 January 1977 in Denver, Colorado) is a professional basketball player in the NBA.

After playing college basketball at the University of Tulsa, Ruffin was drafted in the second round of the 1999 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls. He has played for the Bulls, the Philadelphia 76ers, the Utah Jazz and Washington Wizards.

Ruffin has averaged two points and 4.4 rebounds per game through his career.

Renouned for his defensive presence and hustle, Ruffin has drawn comparisons to the legendary Dennis Rodman
from Wizards announcer Steve Buckhantz.
