| Michael Chabala (born May 24, 1984) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Houston Dynamo of Major League Soccer. Chabala was drafted by Houston during the 2006 MLS SuperDraft. Prior to entering the professional ranks, Chabala played for the University of Washington. While playing for the Huskies, Chabala earned the following honors:
During his club years, Chabala played for the Colorado Rush in 2005, winning the State and Regional Championships. He played for Ballistic United, winning the Northern Premier League and California State championship. He earned two Premier League titles, one in 2001 and the other in 2002. During his early development years, he played for the Central California Heat (1998-99) and Cyclone (1993-97) Clubs and was named to the Olympic Development Program's All-America team in 1994.
